The eruption of the Eyjafjallajökull volcano in Iceland should tell Gordon Brown not to mess with the Vikings. He shamefully invoked UK terrorism laws to allow him to close down their banks, then used UK taxpayer money to bail out the bankers and finally tried (unsuccessfully) to blackmail the Icelandic people into refunding his banker bailout. All to no avail. Yesterday the official report into what went wrong shows that as usual the bankstersers took money from ordinary people (either directly or through their government) and passed it on to themselves and their crooked cronies.
In the meantime the Icelandic volcano has achieved what Hitler and his Luftwaffe failed to do - completely close down British airspace. The official story is that a 'plume of ash' has drifted across northern europe causing many countries to stop flying completely. Here is a picture of the 'plume':
... taken from the NASA EarthObservatory site.
The lava eruption occured underneath a 700 foot thick glacier, so as Nasa reports: "the plume is primarily steam". Which is interestingly backed up by the findings of the British Meteorological Office.
Mr Brian Golding, from the Met Office, reported that yesterday they sent an aircraft up to explore the plume. It was fitted with special sensors to detect volcanic ash, and flew all the way from southern England into Scottish airspace and back. The result? "... it did not intercept any of the plume of ash along that flight track"!
Hmmmm - think I'll pop outside to see if there are any black swans around.
